Matías Vuoso is a retired Argentine-Mexican football player who was born on November 3, 1981, in Mar del Plata, Argentina. He played as a striker and was known for his physical presence, aerial ability, and goal-scoring prowess.
Vuoso began his professional career in Argentina with Independiente in 2000 before moving to Santos Laguna in Mexico in 2003. He had successful stints with several Mexican clubs, including Club America and Cruz Azul, before retiring in 2017.
Vuoso also represented the Mexican national team, earning 23 caps and scoring 5 goals. He played in the 2004 Copa America and the 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup, among other tournaments.
In recent years, Vuoso has worked as a coach and has been involved in youth development programs in Mexico. He remains a popular figure in Mexican football for his performances on the field and his passion for the game.
